About School

The international summer school "Complex system and future technologies in neuroscience" will be held in the hotel-palace of the XVIII century in the heart of St. Petersburg from June 29 to 30, 2024. Deadlines for abstract submission and registration will open in March 2024.

The discovery of the brain’s waste removing system and the features of its activation during sleep gave rise to progress in understanding the mechanisms of the restorative properties of the sleeping brain. This contributed to the development of breakthrough technologies in the augmentation of lymphatic “Vessels - Vacuum Cleaner” and the removal of metabolites and toxins from brain tissues. This is also the basis for new scientific concepts about brain immunity and its regenerative processes. As part of interdisciplinary school “Complex system and future technologies in neuroscience”, leading scientists from the field of somnology, neurophysiology, optics and physics will present lectures covering future technologies in neuroscience for the study of brain as a complex system and for the development of the promising therapeutic strategies for treating brain diseases during sleep.
